The Building Transformer Part II

Eco Bar, Ragusa - Italy is an amazing building transformation, from abandoned building in a sports complex into an eye catching building.
Architect Guiseppe Gurrieri done such a wonderful job on this extreme makeover.  With limited budget on the table, smartly he chose a low cost materials and reused it for the outer skin of the building, of course after he put his magical touch to it first.

Don't Judge The House By It's Front

"Don't judge the book by it's cover", an ever popular saying which we are guilty of. As human being, naturaly we assume almost everything from first impression. Christopher Polly uses this human weakness to his advantage on designing Cosgriff House Project, Sydney - Australia.
First glance from the street, the front of the house just seems ordinary, just another old house in the suburb. As soon as you walk in, you will have a rude awakening. The big bat of contemporary architecture will knock you silly. All feature of minimalist and eco friendly summed up in this house. The further we walk in the house, the more we will question our judgement.

 

The Transformer Building

Dovecote Studio, Suffolk - UK is my Optimus Prime of this interesting building transformation and of course Haworth Tompkins Architect is the Michael Bay with this project, transforming on old abandoned building  into an eye opener, jaw dropper brand spanking new award winner building while keeping the traces of it's old structure intact. WoW.
