Taohuayuan (means Utopia or Peace Blossom Land), is a state of the art, traditional Chinese
style home, sitting on a private island in the middle of a misty Dushu lake,
Suzhou - China. It’s currently listed for sale at a whopping $201
million.
At 1,000,000,000 Chinese Yuan (£113 million/$149 million),
this mansion is the most expensive home ever sold in mainland China.
It took over three years to construct, Taohuayuan
styled after traditional Chinese home
with upturned roofs and a courtyard-style layout. It comes complete with
32 bedrooms and 32 baths, a cavernous wine cellar, a lakeside swimming pool,
and breathtaking gardens modeled on a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Just by looking at these pictures below I start drooling, I
love this house more than I love Kung Pao chicken.
